Caring For Soft Tissue Wounds
Caring for soft tissue wounds is essential to keeping the skin healthy and preventing internal infections from taking hold. The third step in wound care, besides being prepared and providing the body with immune system boosting supplements, (this will be covered in our next article) is to be able to identify wounds and learn how to dress them.
All too often people either panic and run to the nearest clinic, emergency room, or hospital when a wound could easily be cared for at home. Other people may brush off an injury until it's too late. Many times this can lead to pain, suffering, bacterial infections, wounds that do not heal, skin necrosis (skin death), and even terminal illnesses.
